I don't believe we had angel lures before.  What imagination you have and certainly asking for heavenly help is appropriate.   Don't make the same mistake that Allan did by retaining the fish.  That is an automatic DQ.   I hope all of us have angels on our shoulders that guide us to be more loving, tolerant and forgiving.  I am looking forward to seeing you post your fish.  I'm wondering what happened to our Monterey and Santa Cruz guys as their have been no interest yet.

All fish must be released  in the spirit of the year.  Just think of the feeling you will have after you let a 40 incher go.      Your proactive karma with be abundant for next year.

Ok, fished the holiday lures last Saturday with the gang. I forgot the best one at home and only managed a couple greenling and barely legal cabbie before loosing the rest. I thought the go pro was on video to capture the carnage but but it was on photo mode so no pics of them. But here are the (lost) lures.

This is hella fun, Raydon. I'll be after them again as soon as I raid the ornament boxes again.

You lost all your lures except one?  Must be the spirit of Lingnicholas or Davey Jones lingness.  I'm hoping to go out next Sat and Sun.  I think there will be a lot of holiday lure dangling off the bottom.

 We've turned  holiday lures into a family affair. Lil SuperVata is all in. We decided to go big also note the lucky Peterbilt keychain. Won't be on the salt next Saturday but will be Saturday after next.

It looks like you are really cooking up some "supervato" lures  I think you may have some special holiday mojo working since you have enlisted the expert help of your elf, Jolie.  The holiday time is prime time to get involved in fun projects with your family.  Jolie looks like she has done this before.

 

I think I went overboard with the tinsel.  I'll keep an eye out for better looking ornaments...

Red, red and more red.  I think you have captured the spirit by using red which is the color of good luck.  I hope you have good luck with your beautiful lures, and I hope you have good luck and health with your family this season. 

I guess I will go to TC next weekend and play X mas music while fishing.
