Hello all...

I am working on the potability of a Handheld VHF group buy option.  Looking for feedback from those who are interested in actually making a purchase.

1)  Pricepoint?  Are you more interested in a higher-end radio or basic, but good, model.
2)  GPS Built In?

What features in a HH VHF most appeal to you & your decision to purchase?  I have already received the "ok" from a manufacturer and now I want to focus on which of their (many) models we want to purchase.

Thanks!

The exact model is still TBD based on what features everyone wants in the radio.  I have a couple options; one would be in the $100-125 type of range where as the other (with GPS) might be up in the $200 type of range.  I will negotiate the final cost, minimum we need to buy, etc, etc, etc once I have a better understanding of the radio we want to look for.

Thanks everyone!

Hi Bill,

Can you pick out 2 models, one with GPS and one basic?

This is awesome Bill. Especially since the LRC is right around the corner and you must have a VHF to participate.
