So I have been kicking around how to put this out there. I didn't just want to rant but make this somewhat constructive and it needs to be said.

We have a lot of new people on here and they need to understand how we do things.  The first thing is that if you bring someone to an event you are responsible for them and their actions directly reflect on you. When we are at events it's totally chill and we (for the most part) get along or just stay away from people we don't want to hang out with. We don't come into these events with an aggressive mindset. We are pretty much one big dysfunctional family of like minded individuals who just want to have a good time.

With this being said

This last weekend at OC there were a group of us hanging out around the fire chilling, eating, drinking, & cutting it up. There was a newer member I hadn't met before and his buddy who were hanging out with us. When they arrived I noticed them polishing off a 5th of whiskey. Well the new guys were getting some flak for just being new guys and were taking it pretty good. But tensions did seem to rise early and they were diffused and we continued to chill.

So as the night progressed I got up to toss some wood on the fire and give FM1 a little brotherly hug. Well the friend kinda grabbed me from the back and I got him off then turned around to find him holding a knife in an attack position about a foot or so from me. This wasn't a friendly playful type of situation. This wasn't a little pocket knife this was 6+" hunting knife. Once I saw this I told the guy "what the fuck you doing? we're just chilling here" turned around grabbed Amy and headed to the trailer extracting myself from a situation that was not going to end well for anyone.  I have no clue what happened after that.

This has had me pissed off ever since and has no place at any NCKA event. I can keep going but this is just pissing me off even more writing this.

Keep your friends in check!

He's extremely lucky you didn't draw on him.  That's some super sketchy shit right there.

You're smart for walking away.
No one wants to croak out at a fish n chill.

If you don't say who it is, it could happen again, to someone else, right? Perhaps let Polepole or Bushy know who the NCKaer is who brought his friend.

We had a out of control dude at GS a few years back (who proceeded to almost kill himself on tourney day). In the end that was his one and only event. Never to be seen again. I'd hate to have our events be something I have worry about friends and family attending
