That is funny, Craig. And he apparently didn't get kicked out of the stadium.

LOL Just hate to see the traiders any where in CA. Ya just can't trust the ownership for that team. So I ask are you true blue: OOPS  I mean black and silver fans, going to drive to SO Cal. Or is your loyalty to a local team?  :smt044  :smt044

A weed sea.. You have no idea of the loyalty of Raider fans. :smt002

I had season tickets right up to the time fucktard Al Davis moved the team. Section 331. Four rows from the top. The worst seats almost but it didn't matter. Stabler. Matuzak. Upshaw. Sistrunk. The Mad Stork. Casper. There were a lot of pissed off people. Every game was a sellout. There was class in the parking lot. Stylish women in black cashmere sweaters with the raider logo. Now there's garage everywhere and a bunch of clowns dressed like mad max. I still like the raiders but a big chunk died when the money hungry fucktard Al took our team away.

Craig sounds like you were just a bandwagon fan from the 70s..alot of the older fans became fans in that era and are still fans to this day...and that statement about our tailgates and the costumes? Ok!! Sounds like you  don't like a good party. And section 331 is a cheap seat package for people who were late to own there seats and got whatever was available. .GO RAIDERS!

No it was in color then cabeza de verga. It was when if you were a niner fan and wanted to actually watch a game you had to go to the ghetto and see it in person because they never sold out. Heheh

No, I listened to it on my AM radio...Cravin Sac  :smt044

I could never forgive the  "Traitor Raiders"...     Just don't get the " fan loyalty" thing, when a team turns tail on their own fans.    "Fans", ya know. the guys who supported them from the beginning all those years.
So now ( true to their colors)  they're about to abandon they're fans once more...    unless paid the 111 million dollar ransom ???    WTF is with that?

Seems like turning tail has become the norm, especially in business.    Nearly every American corporation that got it's start on the backs of the American worker ( and consumer ) has abandoned America for cheap overseas labor...      They  want your $$$,,, not your loyalty.

I agree with you all they way. If a team leaves it's loyal fans it means the owners can care less about the fans. With out Fans Seattle wouldn't have the 12th man. Oakland really doesn't have a 12th man because they have and will bail again. Until the tax payers and fans pay them to stay. And I also hear the Rams are thinking of coming back to L.A. I say screw them unless they pay the whole move bill. I don't like Green Bay but that team has it right, The fans own most of the team. So is the Raider fans are so great see if the Fans can raise the 111 million. FishMaster1 how much of a fan are you are you? How much are you willing to Pay to keep them in the Bay Area? A buck? ten? how about a thousand? Get your loyal Raider Nation together and I bet you can't raise a 1/2 million much less 111 million.  :smt010  :smt010  :smt044  :smt044  :smt044

This old pussy still likes them you nasty powerboater  :smt003 :smt006  Then there is the fact that the title of the thread is How About those Raiders. So, you gotta hear all aspects of it, not just the typical polyanna bullshit Art. Its all relative to how a fan evolves.

Took the words outta my mouth!
If my team moved to LOS ANGELES, I would stop rooting for them.
If they returned 15yrs later and treated the players/fans/community like shit, I would definitely not root for them.
I hope they do well, since they represent Oakland & the Bay Area [for NOW]. But I'm not giving them a single dime.

Seriously though, they haven't had a winning season in 13 years! So it's gonna be kinda ironic when they make the playoffs in 2017, as the San Antonio Raiders (or some other stupid town).  :smt009

....and if your team moved to SantaClara, raised prices, (treated the fans and city of SF like shit) and then cut/traded /gave away the core of the team the following year.

That is an excellent point!
Honestly I'm glad they moved closer to me (plus the new stadium is better than the Stick), but I'd probably feel differently if I lived in SF.   Still not comparable to moving to LA though.
