If my team moved to LOS ANGELES, I would stop rooting for them.
If they returned 15yrs later and treated the players/fans/community like shit, I would definitely not root for them.
I hope they do well, since they represent Oakland & the Bay Area [for NOW]. But I'm not giving them a single dime.

Seriously though, they haven't had a winning season in 13 years! So it's gonna be kinda ironic when they make the playoffs in 2017, as the San Antonio Raiders (or some other stupid town). 

hey bait man wth are you talking about? what ransom?  that has nothing to do with them moving to LA. this is a completely different scenario then when al davis moved down south. mark davis has stated for the last 4 years that his number 1 priority is getting something done in the east bay...he has even staked out land in concord and dublin for potential sights to build on. bottom line is the city of oakland hasn't done shit to try and keep its sports teams. the raiders are the only team out of the 3 (As and warriors) that have said " we want to stay in oakland" . Raiders play on a goddam baseball diamond! shit is embarrassing...we have a huge fan base already established in so cal(tons of so cal season ticket holders drive all the way up for the home games...good people too) and the city of carson is ready to build right now. If the Raiders leave the bay area its because the politicians in oakland didn't want them bad enough...you can't pin this one on the davis family.

and based on what I've heard from a grip of ninerfans is that LEVIS STADIUM SUCKS! its a tourist trap that puts the game day experience to the curb to make way for a bunch of high tech BS. that place is cursed and I'm so glad we didn't get in on sharing it!

and craig come up with some names other then superstars who even my 7 year old daughter probably catches on the NFL network. who was the guy protecting kenny stablers blind side? who was the center? middle linebacker?and don't be mad at me! I just give you shit because i have you on Facebook and i can't keep up with what team your rooting for. one year its the As , I remember you cheering for the raiders back when hue jackson was still the coach. then you were in the giants stadium in there championship run and i could of sworn you were rooting for the niners the last few years **scraches head**

Yes to both points, the leadership in Oakland has gone from corrupt to incompetent to a combo of both.  The city wants riots, anti-gentrification campaigns and to remain a complete waste of potential. 

Mark Davis wants to build on the same lot they currently occupy, two stadiums (a's and radiers), one at at each end with parking in the middle.....so fans can still tailgate.  He's actually come out and recognized that part of the game is the tailgating and he doesn't want fans to lose that experience.   The city has pos proposals with housing and retail completely surrounding the stadium and he ain't having it. 

I went to Levi's for the MX race this year. I paid $40 for parking on the fairway at the SC Muni course, bout a half mile away.  I baked in the afternoon sun.   Paid $12 for a 12 Oz pour. And the fucking seats are ridiculously crammed together so they can squeeze in as many sardines as they can pack in. If someone gets up to go to concessions.....the whole fuckin row has to get up.  The only good thing that came from that experience was posted race beers at the golf course club house and doughnuts on the fairway when we left.  I think in time, the stick will be more fondly remebered. 


PS.....lol at PK.....the A's piss all over oakland ever chance they get too.  They woulda been in the Southbay years ago if the Giants weren't c-blocking em.  They'll be gone soon too.

Fan appreciation or not, Raiders are shaping up to be the real deal (I'm a niner fan).

With Bell out, the Raiders can afford to play zone coverage and sit back deeper in the passing lanes. Even better that they have Woodson quarterbacking the secondary. Ben ain't running with that injured leg.

The fact is, the Raiders need a new stadium.  From what I'm seeing they are trying to stay.  You guys are talking like they're just completely abandoning the bay to chase $$$.  If they can't get a deal done locally, what do you propose they do?
