If everyone cooks up a dozen, that's gonna be a lot of oyster roastin'!  24 is the head count.

Maybe Tote can suggest a beer.  Anyone able to suggest a wine to go with these?

With raw oysters I like a nice New Zealand sauvignon blanc.  Dunno about bbqed ones.

some may want to bring some sort of sauce for their oysters (BBQ,HOT SAUCE,SRIRACHA,WASABI) i have some hot sauce but it may be too spicy for some and i don't have enough for 48 dozen.

I prefer beer myself with oysters, but the Patiana SB is really nice if you like whites. 2009 version was super, more recent vintages are good.

This need to be encouraged.  If you have a super secret special sauce, you should make it and impress everyone!  We will need a lot of sauce for ~700 oysters.

We now have a deadline for ordering. 10:00pm Monday 5-11. The price quoted in post #1 will be the price unless we hear different from crash.

We need sauces! Maybe a sauce contest?  Who will be the sauce King or queen of GS9?
