We will start cooking right after the safety meeting. Jerry said people can cook and hang out as long as the management allows, (he has ear plugs.)

Be sure to check the order list and make sure your order is correct.

Ordering is closed.

Ski pro 3 (Jerry) has offered his site. RV site #7 will be the location.

Current price is $7.75/dozen for kumos.  I'll see if I can get a lower price from another supplier but that's a number we can go with for now.  Works out to 65 cents each.

Haven't figured that out yet. Crash offered to pick them up, I'm not sure where from. Do you know a good place?

We have hundreds of acres of oyster beds up here in humboldt bay.  I'll call for pricing on monday, usually works out to 50 cents a piece or so for kumamotos in bulk in the past.  I have room for a couple cases and we can probably find people to mule more for us.

My friend knows the manager of the local Humboldt oyster company.  I can check on a bulk price.

Cool Rob.  You have room for any?  When are you headed down?  Most I've ever bought at one time was 3 cases and it fed 85 people.  For point of reference.

Wow!  If they are 50 cents each, I'd like a dozen!

I'm only slightly confused as to how this works ($?), but I'll chip in for a few @ .65 when I get there.

I'll take a dozen!

I'm only slightly confused as to how this works ($?), but I'll chip in for a few @ .50 when I get there.

Let's get a price quote first. Then we'll figure out how much to bring. Then we'll figure out how much grill space we need. If I had to guess it'll be in the area of 25-30 dozen. It has potential to be pretty popular.

I'll buy the oysters and people can pay me back Friday night. I am not going to keep track so it's honor system.

I encourage friendly competition as to who makes the best sauce/topping for his or her oysters. This is serious business you know.

I was already in the market for oysters for my potluck dish so nbd.

I'm thinking we want 4 dozen so we can have some for Saturday or Sunday. How long will they keep fresh uncooked?
