new rockfish reg

to be clear about this new reg. is it 10 combo of rcg not including blacks and 5 blacks seperately. or basically same as before 10 combo of rcg and additional 5 blacks? or is it 10 combo rcg and in that 10 5 will be blacks. just want to be sure and not bring in 15 black and get screwed, thinking we can get an extra five blacks

You can take 10 RCG, 3 Hali, 3 Ling, 2 Salmon, and 2 perch. That is 20 and is legal. Only 10  RCG inside the 20 and no more than the legal limits of the other ten in combo.

Finfish limit is 20. Stuff like herring, anchovies, sand dabs, etc have no limit and don't count against the 20 finfish.

all good points ...I think folks that show  interest and read and ask questions and learn all know this stuff after a season or three...around here lots of good info know the regs of their area 99%---better than most folks ,outside ncka, I talk to otw almost it seems

I only made that list as a otw reminder to my scatter brain ,and as a wallet copy too, for boring moments to take out and study -my first season...now i do it just to hand out to new guys that ask me over and over when fishing---whats this or what is the size on that...


you could have hundered sand dabs and 2 salmon and ...and ..and ...the combos are varied...as long as your legal and  can use it and dont abuse it...seems that is the spirit of what I feel on this Site

I was not correcting you, Doug. I was referring to RCG and forgot to say so and missed your last sentence regarding RCG. Easily happens when one is single vision.
