I think what Howard meant was 'No more than 10/day of any single species' unless specified in the regs (like sanddabs).
I was referring to the RCG limit but that makes sense too.

I was trying to help tl with his card. I said 20 finfish limit and you corrected me. But I clearly said finfish and the limit is 20 with a few exceptions. RCG limit is 10 with sublimits for some RCG complex species, which I think tl has down correctly on his card.

I think that clears it up.
I was not correcting you, Doug. I was referring to RCG and forgot to say so and missed your last sentence regarding RCG. Easily happens when one is single vision.

Its that toneless internet conversation again. I misread internet tone like a pro.  Sorry about that.

Did miss something accoring to the 2015-2016 ocean Sport Fishing Regulations for San Francisco area I still see the following:

Lingcod
Section 28.27
Same as RCG Complex, above 2 fish per person 22” total length

What gives?

Yes, check every other post on this forum for the change in regs that just came down.  earlier season for most, 5 black sublimit, and 3 lings.

Stripper 2 per @ 18" --2014?
Hey Craig, believe strippers are still no limit, although it would cost you a lot of money and usually you don't want to keep them because they are full of crabs.

thanks..I will keep an eye on it...i left the question mark....last year down here there was reg...I .have my old 2014 central home made cheat  sheet somewhere

I've noticed one thing that makes it hard for us coastal ncka's  to chat online about regs ,is that we are one species 'kayak fisherman of nor cal' but different tribes are present..
http://www.dfg.ca.gov/marine/fishing_map.asp

so what is true for you on strippers is not always the same just a few hours drive to the next bay....and then we get our posting's all crossed up trying to help each other etc...for instance S.F lists strippers but central does n ot and did last year

San Francisco Management Area: San Francisco Bay District

Striped Bass

The recreational fishery for striped bass (Morone saxitilis) is open year-round with a daily bag and possession limit of two fish and a minimum size limit of 18 inches in length. No striped bass may be taken while using a sinker weighing over four pounds, or while using any power-driven gurdy or winch.

Craig, I believe BMB is saying that Strippers wear a bra over their pectoral fins while you are saying two Stripers at 18"+
