When I went the first time in 1998, it was $100 at the door, a lot less rules, for instance, one my favorites, the official Black Rock Drive -by Shooting Range. They give you a pump shotgun, you sit in the backseat of a car out of Mad Max and they drive you  fast over speed bumps and you blast away at targets. That was the last year of guns on the Playa, probably a good idea....But what fun! Much has changed but its still the funnest and possibly the most life changing thing someone can do, I highly recommend at least once, I went ten times and would gladly go again.
Still holding out for a ticket through a few contacts.

As someone foolhardy enough to have attended more than just a few burns, i can tell you this. If the albacore arrive and you go, you'll. miss the best fishing of the season. Other than that, super fun times

No way. If I want to attend more of that hippie nonsense i'll do it a lot closer to home without spending over 400 bucks just on a ticket!
