I'll keep that in mind!   You just never know if mine will make it there or not.

I'm in Auburn just after the first hill set, that is so gradual, most don't notice till they overheat and get towed in...

Hoping for a safe journey but I'll come find you if things head south.  There will be a few of us in the "convoy" so you just never know.  My boss has blown tires the last two years running. 

Oh no! I thought this was a safe space away from burners. Haha
Last year was the first year, in years that I didn't go. I had so much fun, I think I'll not go again this year. 

This will be my first (and hopefully not last) year to go!  If all goes well, I'm going with my boss ... with the understanding that the boss-employee line ends at the gate of BM.

Maybe 15 years ago before it became so mainstream and popular.  I don't understand spending that kind of money to go to a dust bowl that requires you to bring everything you need.  It's funny how the clinics in SF always see a rise in stds after Burning Man.  Sure it has lots of neat and unusual art exhibits and stuff, but it's hot, dusty, and in the middle of nowhere on federal land.  The man is there in more and more in force.  I guess it could be fun with a large crew, a solid plan everyone contributing.  Just not my idea of fun and I have done Bonnaroo and several other Big festivals up to 100,000 people by myself or with friends.

Have fun.  I will watch it online.

Not even sure how to reply to some of this...  Guess some aren't cut out for it.  Sure some of them dont understand the brotherhood of kayak fishing & the same thing about us.  Why would their be a rise in std in San Francisco ... Sounds ignorant to me.

There is also the year the guy hung himself and people around it thought it was an artis tic display.
I'm sure it could be fun with the right people and planning.
