So, following my attendance to the unSCruz Regional Burning Man Event a few weeks back (locally held), I secured my place within an established camp.  My ticket for Burning Man 2015 appears to be on Lock Down & our camp starts fabrication/planning of our exhibits & mutant vehicle/mobile bar THIS WEEK!!!

In addition ... I'm planning on taking a few small items to place within the temple to remember those lost over the last few years.  If anyone has anything small they want me to tote up there & place in the temple prior to the burn, please drop me a note & I'll do my best to place them.  I already have a few things to go in remembrance of my dad and one of his life long friends who passed away late last year.  I'll be sure to also haul along a few NCKA stickers to "tag" things with along the way! :smt003

The man burns in 3 months, 17 days & 7 hours EXACTLY from now!

When you get to the gates and greeters, they give you a "what, where and when" list of camps and happenings. First look up Tuna Camp, these dudes from Wash state bring in 2 semis filled with Tuna and serve it up 24/7 for free, while waiting in line gorgeous skimpily clad girls serve sashimi. Bring them Ice and booze and offer to help out a few hours, super cool camp. Another is tall bike camp, they host tall bike jousting, awesome show! And if you see a phone booth that has a "GOD" sign on it, by all means pick up the phone and say hi. And my friend D Miles runs the Black Rock Roller Disco, another 24/7 camp, they all are really, and they have a few hundred pairs of skates with a beautiful rink and if you want to see some booty shaking it, thats the place to go anytime. Brawl camp is always fun, as is the Thunder-dome and Death Guild. Lots of cops, they will ticket you for weed, $250, and put you in jail for psychedelics. Beware of things like Jiffy Lube camp, unless your into that kind of thing....Its an alkaline desert, so when you pour vinegar on the ground, it reacts like acid. Bring vinegar, dilute and wipe girls down with a washcloth, its fun! Wipe your feet and don't wear open toed shoes unless you want your feet to get open bloody cracked runny soars in a few days. We saw a dude at one of the many first aid/sunscreen stations show up with his GF, she has his heel in a baggie, it fell off from the alkaline after running around barefoot for a week. True story. And don't run into any rebar, thats never any good. Tie shit down when its calm cause a 70 mph wind is just around the corner. Filled with alkaline dust. Always have a respirator, desert storm goggles and a drink container on hand. If you have access to irrigation hose, the hula hoopers use 100' coils of 3/4" 160 psi to make about 8 or 9 hoops, about 40 bucks. Have fun!

DUDE!  All awesome info!  My boss has gone for the past 8 years and I vowed last year to go this year!  I got on with a camp because they saw some sort of skills in me  :smt003

Seems that there is a camp for every form of lifestyle out there!  Hadn't heard of the Tuna Camp ... on my list now!  Seems like goggles, mask, water bottle & sunscreen are a MUST!  Little worried about my Tepui tent with the fact it is so darn dusty as compared to an actual camper or foam Yurt.  I don;t want to destroy my setup but I kinda built it with this in mind so hoping for the best!

Anyone ever check out the "Tuna Guys" a camp but on by some Oregon guys that catch tuna and serve it on the playa?
AWESOME!  We will have to get a NCKA camp together in a future time.  Imagine the damage we could do!!!

Guitarzan informed me about the Tuna Camp.  In my list to check out this year!
