haven't been in 10 years, but the nightime esplanade view always gets you fired up. i can almost forget the dust, heat, and epic hangovers.... almost.

that said, if you haven't gone... you should go.

Yes.  Night views are always the best.  The I'm with provides one of the best views of it all from atop our tower that's open to climb & view from.

I like *fire. El Pulpo is one of my faves. 



*caveat so as not to sound like a pyro - fire in controlled settings...like the middle of the desert.

El Pulpo is one of my favs as well.  The guys who run & work on it are super awesome guys.

Then of course there is awesome art work by The Flaming Lotus Girls & art cars like Charlie the Unicorn

I've heard from a few of my fellow NCKA peeps that are burners BUT are any of you going this year?  Chime in!

Just heard our camp got its placement for 2016! My tickets are in.  Just over a month till I'm on the road to my home on the Playa!!!!  15-16 days of dust here I come

my son-in-laws works part time at the office in Union City that issues out the tickets.... trying to see if I can score some; but he says they are REALLY tight about them... but we'll see...

Good luck with trying to score a free ticket.  They sold out in about 35minutes.  Since I was part of a major camp, we were able to get ours a month before they went on sale.

Would be awesome if you got a ticket though!!!!!!!  There are a few people here & there selling tickets but face value is still close to $500 each.

My tepui survived in 65-70mph winds out there last year. 

Forgot to mention Glen ... they do have a post office on the Playa so you can get some work in while you're there.  Maybe you can be the Postmaster General
