Soo many photos to choose from; over 1000 + a 100+ videos.

Here's another one...  From the CT ride, coming out of a total whiteout leading a couple of the remaining CT girls out from the whiteout conditions led by my good friend & his art car 'Joyism'.

Fukn Hippies. :smt012

Ha! Beat me to it.

Sounds like copious amounts of acid are consumed.  :smt007

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

That would be an understatement.

There were a lot of rich & highly talented hippies out there!

Here's one of my favorite bars on the Playa; Lamplighters.  Taken during a pub crawl we did that began shortly after sunrise where we started at 'The Petting Zoo' and ended in a random hammock for a few hours while I "rebooted" before the evening edition of the drinking tour.

For those not familiar with BM; nothing but ice & coffee can be bought or sold on the Playa (within the event).  This community exists on sharing & gifting.  There were thousands of bars serving drinks ranging from beers to pickle backs to 'Playa Juice'.  You bring your own cup!  Best way to make friends is to show up & offer the bar a bag of ice or a jug of rum; friends for life!

Great report, thanx! The temple is heavy. Lot of mojo surrounds it, and when it burns in silence, its unforgettable. But when the man burns, its a wild party!

Random art, words of wisdom & the LOUDEST cound car on the Playa; Aztec Warrior
I wonder how many topless chicks posed under the Aztec warrior. Seems like a nice spot to hang out :smt003

I think it's pretty awesome how you captured and shared your experiences at BM Bill!   :smt002  I still wish to this day that I had gone when I was going too... But that is another story.  Thanks again for sharing, and hope to see some video soon!  :smt003

There was no need to find something for topless women to pose under.  They were like ants at a picnic ... they were everywhere.  You could spot the ones that weren't comfortable because they would go out near some art piece, flip off the top for a pic or two & then cover back up.  Few nudists in the mix as well; both m & w.

Maybe I'll open up a 1k+ post to share a few of the 'other' pics.

I know you would have REALLY enjoyed it Al.  I think Sara might too.  It was something I have wanted to do for over 15 years and finally got my chance.  Didn't do it to cross it off 'the list' by any means.  There is something magical & special about being on the Playa covered in dust for a week or longer.  The real magic, as others who have attended attested to a few posts ago, happens with the Temple.  For me, it goes far beyond words and helped me to deal with some stuff that I've been hanging on to for about 5 years now.

The only draw back is the draw to the Playa.  I'm hooked!  Already starting planning for 2016.  I came back & had a hard time sleeping for the past couple weeks.  I'd wake up feeling like I was still there.  The first week back was the worst.

We are working on forming a camp for 2016 so if this is something you are SERIOUS about doing, I can get you all the info you'd ever need as a virgin.  What with my whole 1x experience and all  :smt002 :smt003  Actually, ones perception of what is REALLY needed is achieved to the 85%+ range after the first time there.  After that, I'd guess the "fine tune" list of what is needed is only tweaked a slight bit.  Our camp will be mostly 2nd year people with a few 10+ year veterans that are mostly local to here and pretty darn chill people.

We should hookup so you can drop by my work (Watsonville) to see more pic's if you are interested.  We will start forming some camp "meetings" next month to plan next year AND talk about the Regional BM event coming up again in May.  It's a GREAT primer for what the community is about & is held at the fairground in Watsonville; 3-day event, tickets are easy to get and relatively cheap.  Our growing group will have a camp there too and if all goes as planned a GREAT, large site at the event too!
