I have heard mixed messages about NCKA events. I heard albion was a joke, raffle was fixed and so on. Then I heard that give me shelter was the shit. So I decided for my first NCKA event I would attend give me shelter. The event, people,staff and over all atmosphere were great. I'm glad I attended, and eric put on a great event. Thanks for a great event

You better be able  to back up your talk bro. You are talking about my integrity and honesty. Eric does a great job every year. It's a lot of work to organize and put together an event.

The calico perch were biting hard after the potluck and my little guy loaded up on them! Thanks beerhunter for the hook-hook up!

Cool story there, back home this Native American buddy of mine took him fishing, and they used a willow branch as a stringer, and called it an "Indian Stringer" so from then on, Cody has used branches, and he found a piece of kelp to make his "Indian Stringer!" He was almost as proud of that as his fish! We originally thought they were redtail perch, but the warden took the time to explain the subtle dif between the two, which was really cool. That warden up there is a class act.

Yea they are, they helped me ID some fish I caught. Very cool of them.

The two arent mutually exclusive, but as LEA he should probably tone down that part of his shtick.

Thanks Eric for putting on another great event. I can't begin to tell you how much this event means to me. Being able to spend quality time OTW and ocaenside with my NCKA family is uterly priceless. To me it's like a big family reunion only better

.......My last pot was gone too but Ken found it one the beach.  Not sure if it was blown or walked on the swell or encountered the same skum that hit my first one.  At least I got it back.

I think my boys dug it out of the surf on Saturday afternoon and I told them to leave it up on the beach as I knew someone would come looking for it. Glad you found it.

I had three out there that also got raided and one that I couldn't find. So if anyone finds/found it my name is on the buoy.

Most excellent event as always.  Big thanks to Eric and family for all the hard work.  Counting down the days to GS10 already!
