2015 AOTY/DOTY Committees

2014 is almost over and it's time to start planning for 2015!

We have added a few more people on to the AOTY/DOTY committees for 2015 to help with general issues like soliciting prizes, dealing with any complaints/controversies, planning award ceremonies, planning for future rule changes etc.

We have chosen the following people for inclusion in the committees because they are all well respected, have experience with AOTY or DOTY, and can bring a lot to the table in terms of judging entries, dealing with complaints, and expanding AOTY and DOTY through additional prizes and participation.

1. RacinRob (AOTY)
2. CenCoast (AOTY and NCKA Liaison)
3. IceColdChuck (DOTY)

Rob102 is stepping down from the DOTY committee because work and life have been keeping him too busy to be as active as he wants to be. THANK YOU Rob for your help and support!! 

This will make the committees as follows:

AOTY: Sailfish, bwodun, ATD, RacinRob, CenCoast
DOTY: IceColdChuck, BigJim

Admin and Tech support: PolePole and bsteves

The first task I think we'll assign to the new committee members is deciding whether or not to do a "particiaption raffle" in 2015, and where to do the 2015 Awards ceremony.

Can we add fork measurement instead of total length this year also

For sturgeon, you have to go with fork length (per DFG regs now). But for other fish, you can measure the fish according to it's fork length if you want...but you'll be missing out on a few inches of tail!

Btw I assume we'll start a 2015 AOTY/DOTY discussion soon. In case anybody has ideas/complaints that may impact the 2015 competition. So save ya'lls complaints for that thread haha...
