2015 AOTY/DOTY Committees

Btw I assume we'll start a 2015 AOTY/DOTY discussion soon. In case anybody has ideas/complaints that may impact the 2015 competition. So save ya'lls complaints for that thread haha...

For personal reasons I want to separate myself from AOTY.

I still want to help Icecoldchuck with DOTY and am willing to still run the AOTY/DOTY/PIF PayPal and activate AOTY accounts, but besides that really want nothing to do with the AOTY side.

Not because of the game or the committee at all.

I think AOTY is awesome, and ALL the committee members are stand up guys up to the task.

 

I just don't have the emotional energy or will to represent and defend the game anymore against the few that are unhappy with certain aspects of it.

If the consensus is for me to totally leave and hand the PayPal over to another committee member or whatever I am fine with that too.

Your passion seems to be with diving anyways so things will work out.  I will enter a few AOTY fish this coming year but will focus more on the diving part so I am glad you will still be helping with DOTY.

It's obviously a bummer that you're leaving Jim, but I get it. I really appreciate what you've done to help make AOTY one of the best competitions in the world of kayak fishing. We will do our best to fill your BigShoes. But if you submit a questionable entry, I will DQ your ass so fast!!!

This is going to be an interesting year to watch!

It would make me very happy to see the guys whom I admire & respect go 'all in' for 2015. Imagine if the top 3 from each of the last 8yrs were competing against each other...with the addition of some newbie flavor to spice things up!
