Hello all. I like what you are doing and it looks like it is coming along well. I seen a post that ice is always needed. To be honest I am not sure where this event is going on but one thought is the local Fire dept. not sure how far away one is but most stations have ice makers and would most likely be willing to help out with that. Just a thought.

Good job guys

Good job guys/gals keep up the good work

You guys are amazing.  We should be able to feed a medium sized army.  I won't be there till late Friday afternoon.  IF anything is needed, text me or call me.  Don has my number.

thinking of buying one of those Costco Camping stoves, do we have extra propane grills to set up?

I am bringing one of the 2 burner 60,000 btu stoves I got at Costco and 3 extra propane bottles.  It has a half griddle I can make pancakes on. Just grab some bulk batter mix while you are at Costco if that sounds good for a supplement for breakfast.

I have a large jar of syrup already in the motorhome. We can also cook in there if we need to.

Do we have a roll-call of volunteers up any place?  With ETA and length of stay?

Manpower is listed in the spreadsheet in the attachment of the first post on this thread.  Since I did that, we have a couple more
volunteers.

Thanks Raydon.  I didn't see me listed under 'man power', there so I wasn't sure that was.

Some of us are getting their Thursday to set up and all are invited,  the vets and families will start to show on Friday till Sunday.  Most if not all are camping…

I like the giant batter idea, pancakes to go around with sausages and bacon???  that's more ncka style…

so heres where I'm at…  going to Costco,, buying:

1. Plates, cups, paper towels, tools (forks, knives etc…)

2. Bulk Pancake batter, more syrup, butter sausages/bacon…

3. many loafs of bread for sandwich making, condiments ketchup/Mustard/relish

4. Potatoes chips

5.  6 Tri Tips,  (Friday Dinner)  Potatoes salad

7. water/drinks

8.Hot dogs and Hamurgers, polish and brats

coffee…

I'm also calling Mariposa Sanitation and getting a handicapped outhouse or two with a hand washing station… we've got too many families coming  not have some nice facilities for the wives and kids...

I plan on being there by 2 pm or so on Thursday and leaving Sunday around Noon.  I will volunteer to make hot breakfast fixings Friday, Saturday and Sunday at what ever designated time you guys feel is good.  We can have the fruit and other fixings just available but if they want pancakes or other hot food it will be between the time frame you pick.  I can bring a couple dozen eggs from my chickens that are organic for those that only eat organic.  I will also bring some homemade jams and jellies we canned. There will also be a couple of generators so I just grabbed an extra 5 gallons of gas and will bring a waffle maker just in case.
