I planned on breaking my unintended boycott today at Les Schwab. But the vending machine guy hadn't gotten his machine locked so it wouldn't dispense. He may "pay for it later" when unscrupulous snackers steal his booty. But I only cheated in my mind.

Sometimes, late at night in the summertime when I couldn't sleep thinking of the guy I was going to put on the bottomfish at the cape, I would come back to this third trimester bloody abortion of a thread and remind myself that it could be fucking cold and raining and how blessed I really am. Boycotts, except in special cases, are seldom good answers to problems- and snarky bullshit answers are usually a cover for a lack of credible arguments against an idea one doesn't like  - but doesn't know  why. 

And finally there is no science to support the case against GMO's.  The case against chemicals and pesticides in food seems to be credible- as is the case to consume more organic foods. But as far as health risks associated with GMO's... the science isn't there.     

I hope this site just stays about kayaks and fishing.  All the bullshit and snark are a better fit for twitter.   Please... let's go fishing!
