Boycott Annie's brand food, please!

Hey everyone,

If you're like me and you enjoy healthy, organic, non-GMO food, you probably buy Annie's products from time to time. Mac and Cheese, salad dressings, cheddar bunny snacks, etc.

Well, Annie's just got bought out by General Mills; a company that has spent MILLIONS of dollars fighting against GMO labeling laws.

So... Even though Annie's CLAIMS that their recipes will not be changed, buying Annie's products will be giving money to General Mills... Money that will be used to keep us all in the dark about what's in our food.

Hope you can all join me in boycotting Annie's.

Can you provide a list of everyone that you want us to boycott instead of just picking one?  If I boycott Annies, can I still buy GM cereal?

I didn't "just pick one", I picked the one that joined my shitlist most recently.

You can boycott whoever you'd like. Or not. That's up to you. If you are against GMO foods, then by all means boycott GM.

Wal-Mart - business practices, low wages
Bank of America - Mortgage fraud
Target - complete disregard for protection of customer information
McDonalds - low wages, confusing food sourcing
Burger King - international expansion, potential unpatriotic inversion tactics
Pandora Media - Forces AlsHobieOutback to work there instead of fish
...the list goes on...

I called out Annie's because I heard the news whilst I happened to be munching on one of their snacks. It pissed me off, so I spoke up about it.

The others you listed are on my shitlist as well, along with Kraft (owned by Nabisco), and Nabisco (owned by Phillip Morris).

nobody wins against the mighty 1%!! NOBODY!!  they have their hands on EVERYTHING we need to live. Unless your growing your own EVERYTHING and making your own EVERYTHING.

I heard the news and was happy for Annie's. And a little jealous. That's like the lottery right there. 25 years and cashed out for 810 million dollars. Think of all the fishing you could do with 810 million dollars.

Home Depot for causing MY PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT to become hacked & wiped out this past weekend.   YUP, it does happen!

not to mention that Annie's is a Berkeley-based company.  You want a local company to go under simply bc it is becoming a wholly owned sub of GenMills?
