The new seats look good. It looks like the new drive drums might be able to be retrofitted to older drives. They just redid the spine last year so I'm sure it's the same one with new drums. Keep in mind the price will go up with the new seats. Don't know yet but I'm sure they will be over 2k

Yeah, I like the orange boats too - they really stand out on the salt.

I'm curious if the extra height has a negligible affect or not on the distance to the rudder control.

Look for a Red 2012 AI hull with 2008 crossbars (the cool old style), a new mirage drive, and a host of other little upgrades up for sale later in the year...

So according to this article, the new Vantage CT seat in "low" position puts you at the same overall height as the old seat (middle of page):

Note note: damn that Outback is decked out!

Damn Hobie just stepped it up huge. That Outback looks bad to the bone. I know they were feeling the pressure from all the other companies, and it looks like they answered back in a big way. Props to Hobie, These things look bad to the bone!

Although I'd like to have the new seat. That's probally going to jack up the price at least $200.00. I'm happy just being lowrance ready for 2014. And not having x-ducer hanging below. When I do upgrade down the line ill probally go with a PA in addition to my 14 outback.
