New Hobie Seats?

Saw this on Facebook, rumor of new Hobie seats for all products.

That is going to save my Ass~~~

There is no way that thing fits in my old adventure.

Supposedly this was released today at the Outdoor Retailer Convention in Salt Lake City.

Looks like I'm going back to the Dark Side!

Time to upgrade next year?? Looks like a big improvement from hobie.

The new mirage drive also has bearings put into the arms. Hope they last in the salt and don't corrode frozen.

Looks just like the PA seats, except without armrests. 

Those are some comfy seats! 

They had to redesign the hull so looks like it won't retrofit previous models. Darn

Great news! Sounds like all those sore ass Hobie kayakers will be off loading their old yaks for the upgrade! Will be lots of bargains for those looking to pick up a used kayak! 

Looks like the COG is raised a bit, no?  But maybe the tradeoff will be worth it though?
