Albion 2014 - "Beat My Grill" BBQ Cook Off Challenge

Is anyone going to paraboil, steam, pressure cook or otherwise partially cook the ribs before finishing them off on the BBQ?

No self-respecting Grillmaster would even think of doing that


 

Next thing you're going to try to tell us, is that you don't wear white after Labor Day either 

So how many rack(s) do we need to make? So all the contestants can taste too?

My mini smoker ... is mini. It only does one rack.

There are 4-5 judges. Figure 2-3 ribs per judge. There is over 6 contestants so each judge will probably only eat 2 ribs per contestant. One rack is about 15 ribs so 1 rack should be enough and 2 racks will be plenty.

Nice Kiel. I thought I lost my Coleman grill so I bought the smallest Weber Q. Then I found my Coleman grill now I have 2 grills. 

I'd like to enter this competition. I make some pretty decent ribs.

Y'all fix too good of food for all your GTG's. I miss that. I got burgers and dogs again this weekend for another HOW event. I miss the NCKA!!!!  At least it keeps me from getting fat!!!
