Awesome. Glad we are not competing on pork bellies.  I only cook ribs a couple times a year so Karen and I are working on something worthy of competition. Should have something ready by Albion.

I don't see a problem with it.  Show up one week early and a year in the past?

Does everyone have to bring their own grill or will there be a common grill at the event site? If I don't have to bring my own grill I'm up for doing some ribs. If not, I volunteer to be a guest judge! Yum!!!!

I'm bringing my own grill because Glen titled it "Beat My Grill" and it gave me an excuse to replace the grill I lost last year.  All that said, I am sure there will be tons of grills around and you are welcome to use my Weber Q when I am done. I will only need it for 45 minutes. Its pretty small though.

For 100 percent impartial judging, I suggest anonymous labeling of the competitor's offering.

Still Q'ing up the pork bellies but this time I'm going to bring 2 slabs of bellies. One was devoured to quickly. I will be cooking up a rack of ribs for the competition.

Still perfecting my marinade and sauce....
