Albion 2014 - "Beat My Grill" BBQ Cook Off Challenge

If you think you got game, lets see what you got!

Q'ing has always been a past time love of mine and I take great pride in what comes off my grill. I know that at past events, there have been many others that also share this passion; and I thought it might be fun to have a little contest to see what comes off your grill.

So I am throwing this gaunlet down to see if there are any would-be contenders that think they can "Beat My Grill"; and at the same time, feed our gracious hosts (Craig & Linelle) who will be judging the cook-off.

When: Friday, July 25th, 2014 @ 6pm
Where: My Campsite (forgot which one, but I'll find & post)
What:  BBQ Pork, Beef or Chicken
Prize:  T.B.D.

G-Whiz - Ribs
GreatBass2 - "no ka oi" Ribs
Shicken - Ribs

Igor - chicken wrapped in bacon and/or marinated pork cubes
Shadow1888 - Ribs & Chicken
Ariel Sea - Ribs!

If I could get back there with my grill I have in my side yard, you'd be toast!! Great idea bro and I sure would have loved to join you. So far down here this Pinoy California boy beat out a bunch of Texans in a brisket cooking contest.

Who's gonna be the  judge?  I'm a better taster than griller.

I'm in...  may repeat last year chicken wrapped in bacon and/or marinated pork cubes

 I'll tell you what Glen, there should be a crown for the winners, something special to show off to everyone at the rest of the events of the year, then to pass it on to the next winner at Albion.
I have the perfect crown, Joel's Vietnam era mess plate he gave me, signed on the back by Da Mooch. Damn I miss him.

I volunteer to Judge! Wish I had Q skills like the Amazing folks that have shared their creations with me! Looking forward to Albion

Can I use a smoker, that's about all that will fit in my truck for the ride down.

You're lucky I'm going to be out of town that weekend!     DUDE, you're going to be at Albion a week early?

Depending on the rules and judges, I'll throw it down with you Glen. Last time you chickened out so you better show this time.  Personally, I think you should make it just ribs and have Craig and Linelle judge.
