I've had several bass boat guys come into the shop to rent kayaks for this event. Sounds like the word is getting out! Really looking forward to this one.

Have to give up my space on this one Family commitments on all 3 dates... Next year....

Fished Bass club tourneys for years...this is going to be epic! I hope it explodes into something really big.

Me too Joey!  I'm hoping that we see more venues in the future hosting events.  Lake Sonoma, Clear Lake, Lake Berryessa, even smaller spots like Lake Hennessey would work with fields of less than 40 or so anglers.  NorCal has tons of great options and there is definitely a big enough kayak community to support it.  I think the trick will be getting the word out to those yakkers that don't participate on the Internet forums.

I think there will be more and more interest from the bass guys when fuel costs hit $5.00 a gallon and they have to fill up a 50 gallon tank excluding their tow vehicle. The kayak looks like a really good alternative.

Is anyone camping the night before?

Not for this first one but will definitely be looking to camp for the next two if anyone is interested in splitting the cost!
