I just saw they could not get the permit for this weekend. I'm not sure where I saw it though.

I can not make the Aug event. Would I still be required to pay for all three events?

Hey Rob,

This is an invitational, just like BASS or FLW. So to be considered you have to pay for the tournament series. If you can't make every event you are still in the field for final winnings. So if you can pull way ahead in overall length you can absorb a missed date. And if you are in the money or prizes I will contact you as soon as we determine your winnings.

I see where you state you have to pay for the series. Now if an individual can't make one or more of the events will his money for that event/s be refunded to him? Some tournament orgs also have morning of tournament signups. Will this be an option? If there are not spaces open and the field is capped at 50 then he/she is out of luck. On the other hand if you only have 25-30 entered I would more then welcome signups up to say 15 minutes before launch time.

We're already approaching the full count as of yesterday actually. We will have a 10 spot alternate list.

If this fills up it could mean a pretty good payout for first place!!  Glad to hear that there are that many folks interested!  There may be hope for kayak bass fishing series all over Northern California after all!

We're definitely making strides! I like the positive attitude. I definitely want positive people involved in this effort. Next year promises to be even better already! Glad to have you in on the ground floor!

KB thank you! for the response above. My first question in my earlier post was not addressed and I   was hoping you could please respond back with an answer.

If one pays for the series and is unable to make an event/s will their entry fees for the missed event/s be refunded?

There, won't be refund for missed events, this is an invitational tournament "trail". The entry fees are what pays out the prize money, if we have too many people deciding they just don't want to get up that early (not implying anything of course) and asking for refunds on their tourney fees, we would have to give away less money at the end. Thus making it less of a payout for the people who did fish everything. furthermore if we were to allow people to be in the money that didn't pay for every tournament, that would be extremely unfair to people who did.

HookSetr, I appreciate your input into the tournament btw. Thanks for adding to the thread, I can't stress enough, this is our first year. There will always be bumps and bruises when you're starting something like this. Hopefully you can fish them all and get a decent payday though!
