Cutting Spectra Line - What do you use?

Hi Guys,

Wondering what you use for cutting Spectra fishing line while OTW.  I had a small pair of spectra scissors that I keep misplacing or probably lost by now.

Boomerang snips all the way.

knife on my pfd. i have some small nail file snips for the mono leaders

I use regular office scissors and it works fine.  I've only cut up to 65lb braid on it though.

Sharp knife. I've yet to cut braid/spectra on the water. I like  60# braid followed by a shot of 80# mono. 30# leader to the mono which breaks first when snagged. Heavy mono can take a lot of under water rock abuse.

I've got a pair of the P-Line Adaro pliers that have a braid cutter on them. Going on season 2 and I really like them. All aluminum but with SS jaws and replaceable cutter blades. Mine soak in saltwater on each trip, but rinsing and some minor oiling has kept them in great shape with no corrosion. I have them on a retractable SS leash that also has no corrosion. I'm stoked on the setup.
I've also used my PFD knife on a couple of occasions.

you must be using some thick braid dude!

Also the Boomerang Snips.  Can't lose them since they're clipped to my PFD, and not heavy so it doesn't bother me to carry them around. 

I think you'll find the snips to be perfect for you Mel if you keep misplacing scissors.  I've misplaced so many scissors that the snip has paid for itself in the last year.

And you know you should never remove your knife from your PFD except in emergency situations!
