Washing truck and I almost stepped on it. Was looking for water. Picked up and very tame. Will take it to Shelter if no one wants it. Frank 510 468 1036

As long as they don't freeze they can live on their own just fine here in Cali.
A neighbor of mine had one well over 14" long.
Cool little stray you found Frank.  glad it is going to a good home too Antonio!

Went around neighborhood asking but no one lost one. Someone did say they saw it a couple months back in their yard.

Bearded make great pets.  If I didn't have cats I was going to take it.  But my cats would have turned that into a play toy.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Yep,  bearded dragon.  I had one for several years, they make an awesome pet, lots of personality.  You will want to get a uv light, and heat source for them.  They are omnivorous, so feed them lettuce etc along with an assortment of bugs ( crickets/meal worms from pet store) and he will be one happy reptile.

Bearded Dragons make great pets but they have very specific care needs (high basking temps, UV lighting).  Amazing that it managed to live several months through the freezing temps, it must have found a great place to hibernate.
