I have a bunch of old aquarium rocks if you'd like them, Allen.

That means you have to come over and perch fish this weekend, so you can pick up terrarium.

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Here he (?)  is.  As far as I can tell he is in good health, skin looks good, no wounds, and he's fairly active, although I don't have anything to compare against.  May be a little on the skinny side, but he likes spinach so far so he has an appetite too.  Need to get some bugs for him.  Hope to get the aquarium set up soon.  He handles well too, claws are soft, and doesn't bite no matter how much I wiggle my finger in front of him.  I think he'll be pretty kid friendly.

He does look pretty thin.  My brother had one and I actually became pretty fond of it.  They are cool lizards, and do seem to enjoy hanging out with people.  Drop some crickets in his cage and watch him go nuts.

I'm glad he found a good home from out of the gutter!

good score...he is gonna be a hit with the whole family...for a lizard/reptile they have TONS of personality and are super cool....they bond with their humans and can tell the food and warmth and petting is from it's owner and respond when you get near their container...great score..

+1 on the good score!  BDs are cool pets.  He looks like he could use a cricket buffet.

Awesome Allen! I recommend getting some vitamin powder from a pet store and shake up the crickets in a bag with it, shake and bake, Mmmm Mmmm good, very good for the Liz.... A big healthy BD is one of the most impressive reptile pets IMO, and way chill too.
They breed well too....

Thanks for all the info fellas.  Gonna absorb it all and and start applying tomorrow.  Picking up a tank from Bushy tomorrow, and have to get it set up and get the food situation figured out.  I got lots of extra love from the boy tonight for the "best pet ever" even though it wasn't a dog.

And once again... thank you Manong Frank!!!

Be very careful if you get crickets those damn little things always escape. You'll have chirping all night all over the house.
