Maybe take more pictures.
To get out with my dudes of the ScSS at LEAST 10 times. Hopefully more, but I like attainable goals  :smt003

Catch my first Mackinaw and striped bass.  Never tried for the former, tried+blanked once for the latter.

I missed out on a 30+ inch steelhead for 2013, the first year in a while that I failed to get at least one over 30.  So that means at least two 30+ inchers are on the list for 2014  :smt003.

Improve my flyfishing skills this summer on Almanor trout.  I pulled a few nice ones on the long rod this year but I kept falling back to spinning because I'm more proficient with gear than flies.

Maybe get my first ocean salmon on the kayak, but for some reason I'm not as concerned with that now as I was last year.  So that's further down the list for 2014.

But above all, I want to get my first 10+ pound brown trout from the kayak  :smt003.

I would like to learn to fish in the ocean and catch some ling cod while I'm at it. I'd also like to simply learn to be a better fisherman.

My only goal this year is a yellowtail. Don't care about size just a yellowtail. Next year it's all about exotics and fly fishing.

Great question Al! Hanging with the Santa Cruz/ Monterey  crew has taught me alot and has paid off in the amounts of fun and fish species i have targeted in 2013 (ahulls). 2014 plans are to do the same and hopefully get a local halibut.

Great question...
I'd like to catch a sturgeon, ocean salmon and a steelhead from my yak.
I'd like to place well at Albion and GS.
I'd like to be a part of or run a inshore yak tourney.

We'll see what happens.  :smt003
