Well, Folks, the Stormsurf views for tourney day have come out, and we are looking so good right now!!!  Let's hope it stays looking good through Monday at least.

Never want to jinx it, but the word EPIC is coming to mind.   :smt007

Quote from: Great Bass 2
there was a small (2') south swell a couple of years ago and there were several yard sales coming in, so spend a few minutes and rig for a wet landing before coming in.

As for launching and landing, I believe someone was advising others to launch and land at the beach just east of the ramp a few years ago, and that led to the dumpings.

ALWAYS launch and land tight with the breakwater (unless you want to surf...).

Oh That Hurts! I am sitting here at my desk at work trying to get enough done to leave mid week. Moments ago I walked out to my truck to get some paper work ........ low and behold I see Tote drive down the street  and not even stop by to say hello. Guess he made a pit stop at OPS which is a block away. Dammmm...that's rubbing salt in it!

Eric,

We're staying on Cantle Court, which is near Dolphin Drive, and was thinking about launching on Friday at the beach that Dolphin Drive ends at.  What can you tell us about it?

I've ab dove down there - it's a steep trail with bad footing.  I think by the time you got launched someone from the launch could paddle there.

But I'm all for seeing someone take on a challenge!   :smt001

Thanks for the info.  I'll pass on the challenge and launch from the ramp.  :smt004
