Tub is loaded and I'm heading up the hill!!

Been two long years since I've seen the cove and my Brudda's

found a team to fish with.Having a difficult time registering  with tean SMC Rejects. Can someone please log me in. Tried a couple of time.  (Dogwood) thanks.

The abs are tagged.  Got the team trough updated.  Picked up a new toy for the Cove Playground - Costco SUP.

Can't wait to boogieboard with the kids, address the NCKA nation with a PA system, shake a couple hundred hands (Jim, can we just hug?  Lightly?    ), eat some killer camp grub and crazy diverse and plentiful potluck fare, smile, cry, laugh, fish, dive and just Love each other.

Remember the road, people - everyone needs to TAKE THEIR TIME on the highway and especially on Shelter Cove Road!

Can't wait to see you guys and do GS together.

About the drive, it can be dangerous - people really need to take it slow, pull over to let local traffic go by, gear down on grades, and watch out for cliffs and areas of no shoulder - not to mention crazy young drivers who come around corners on the center line and worse.

When I was a kid (more than 50 yrs ago!) I think a good portion of the road was rough dirt.  I remember sitting in the middle front seat every year (that I can remember), holding the gear shift in place because it would just pop out!  I was scared **itless!

My earliest Cove memory is of my brother, my sister and I getting sick on the way to the Cove in our family station wagon in the early 70's.  My brother had eaten Count Chocula for breakfast, my sister had Frankberries, and I don't know what I had, but it was a multicolor/odor disaster all around!

Sounds just like my kids in the back seat of my truck coming home from Albion last year. It was a vomit chain reaction. I couldn't resist the Kodak moment
