UFO Encounters

Ive always told people we will see other planets in our lifetime, the first one was a few years ago, it wasnt even a picture, it was a view of a distant sun that had a planet revolve in front of it and the only way they knew it was there was to mesure the light difference while it passed. Now we are even seeing livable planets, soon we will have pictures of planets with cities and roads and telescopes looking at us and hopefully not searching for water... and I believe we will travel to other planets when we die, no god for me please.

wouldn't it be cool if this was the real deal and we happen to live it?!  Who do we worship to get a ride on the Mothership?

I also believe in God and have no reason to doubt that the universe has a creator and there is meaning and purpose to all events happy and sad.
I do not try and spend too much time delving deeper than my mind can handle on the random thoughts a starry night produces.
I do not think humans were given the extra gears to understand the great beyond, anymore than a raccoon can change a set of spark plugs
-changing spark plugs is not that hard, it is just not in their makeup nor do their needs require this ability.
We may not be able to see beyond this current trip for a good reason and by design.

this may be a very real thing as well as having this planet and other realities as our next stop...and previous stops...this line of interest or research is often looked down on or thought of as demon talk by mainstream religion,as well as u.f.o's...these religions have no room to call the kettle black and evil is relative when pointed at by mainstream religion...their histories in the recent past and past centuries leaves a lot of destruction in their wakes...
There are many small children who have talked of their life and before this one,this often fades and is forgotten in their early years...

More likely to be aliens than god, sorry.

just watch ancient aliens on history channel and you'll find a whole lot of references to things that cannot be explained without coming out believing they have visited already.

Its winter, I'll bite. Combine the known vastness of space and time, our growing understanding of quantum mechanics, and the amount of knowledge we still dont possess about space, it's hard to not atleast entertain the possibility of other forms of "life" out there. As far as having an alien encounter myself, I cant vouch for that.

Combine the known vastness of space and time, our growing understanding of quantum mechanics, and the amount of knowledge we still dont possess about space, it's hard to not atleast entertain the possibility of other forms of "life" out there. As far as an alien encounter, I cant vouch for that.

Hah! Now even Bushy is suspect! It is well accepted that Big Foot is vegan and only occasionally gulps down a forest critter or human to keep his B12 levels up.  Perhaps Bushy confused Big Foot with a Yeti, which does indeed like sushi

Bushy is probably too shy to tell you all this story, but one time I met up with him for a pre-dawn fishing trip to look for steelhead.  It was a cold and somewhat miserable morning, but we were both determined to get a good spot and stake our claim before anyone else showed up.  Anyway,  we met up at his place and hopped in his old truck.  Drove up into the mountains to the pull off above the fishing hole.  When he pulled over into the shoulder and killed his lights I couldnt believe how freakin dark it was.  Like one of those times where you couldnt see your own hand in front of your face.  We grabbed the gear out of the back of his truck and put on our headlamps and started the hike down to the river.  The ground was wet and brutally slippery.  I remember we both kept falling and sliding down the mountain.  After some doing we got down to the river bed and did our best to scope out the best spots in the dark.  I was maybe 40 feet away from him when he started yelling.  I couldnt make out what he was saying and because it was so dark it took me a minute to find him with my headlamp.  When I spotted him it looked like he was moving really fast,  like,  not human fast.  He kept yelling.  I ran over to him and that is when I noticed that his feet were not moving.  he seemed to be getting dragged along.  It was freakin scary.  I did not know what to do, so I tackled him around the ankles.  I then started pulling his leg,  just like I am pulling yours now.   No but,  I do believe in UFO's.  I think it makes perfect sense that we are not alone.
