Im sorry but 97% of CA halibut don't qualify as barn doors.  There isn't any barndoors in the AOTY CA halibut catches.  A barn door won't fit in your net so technically I havnt even landed one yet because my 49.5"er was netted. :smt003  Just sayin..  Have fun and catchabigone.  Im jealous for now... :smt002

WTF is your point?

All packed up and ready to go.
Just have to find Tiny's house in the morning and I'm golden.
Wait.... It's not Wednesday yet. Dammit.

All fishing gear is packed. All of my fishing clothes are packed. Most of my toiletries are packed, most of my non fishing clothes are packed.

Thursday can not come fast enough!

Working four hours tomorrow then oil change for my old lady's ride, then haircut, then tie up any loose ends, then crash out early for a 5:00AM departure Thursday morning.

Saw this on facebook:

"From the Aloha Spirit today!
Some really good quality rockfish today to go with limits of white Seabass for 21 people."

"Today's Fish Count - 4 Boats - 84 Anglers
4 Sheephead, 2 Sculpin, 357 Rockfish, 8 Lingcod, 52 Calico Bass, 45 White Seabass, 1 Halibut
(The Mirage has White Seabass on board. However, they're on a 2 day trip so full count tomorrow."

I think it's north of us, but they are in the area.

yeah, have a blast you guys.
feast on some fresh hamachi, slay some sheep and barndoors, CPR some toads, and just maybe catch a ghost or a T-shark for good measure.

I look forward to the stories when ya'll return to port.
