In previous years I don't think we paid a whole lotta attention to this awards voting.  Let's at least get NCKA the recognition it deserves as the BEST Kayak Fishing Forum in the World!!

Seems like Yak Angler.com is trying to become the " Best" kayak fishing forum,,, this only helps them towards that goal.
Personally   I'd rather eat Sh*t  than support the Yak Anger website.   :smt011

Those of us in the kayak fishing media kind of think, "someone has to do it, better YakAngler.com than me!".

They're trying.  And Mark and Adam are good guys.  Vote up and see where it goes.

BTW, I think there are multiple rounds, where the playing field gets reduced after each round.

...but don't you have to catch fish from a kayak to be the Angler of the Year?  :smt044  How about Rob, Adam, and Rob --- I'd vote for any 1 of those dudes.

No one nominated those three losers!

Well in August north of yellowstone a couple miles Cook City MT. I met a person from Michigan who follows the sight. He thinks we are way cool to go out in the food chain. So There must be others from different states who follow. I'm working on getting a new Hobie. Since Ricci stole the Hobie I had my eye on during the slam down.   I hope tomorrow Or at least pay for it. I plant to use this site and CCKF site to have it set up.

I voted but it seems like BS to me. Nothing personal, but that is the kind of recognition we don't need :smt011  we are better than that.  Sorry Bushy and Polepole, no disrespect, just my 2 cents.

Not sure why I would take it as disrespect.  I have nothing to do with this competition ...

IMO there are people, places and equipment missing from the nominated choices. There are also some way heavily weighted categories.

Disclaimer: I am not claiming objectivity. NCKA has the best site, the best people, the best tournaments, the best potlucks, the best fishermen, the best reports and the best videos to just name a few. Just Saying

I think my point is that it was a waste of my time because the results a are meaningless because it does not represent reality. Leffingwell vs Shelter Cove as the only choices? You vs Bushy? Really? Yeah, you have nothing to do with it but I hate taking meaningless poles so don't ask people to waste their time by voting IMO.

I respect your opinion Scott and agree with it more than not.

I do, however, enjoy the discussion that has ensued and will continue to ensue!   :smt006  And I'm always curious as to how people perceive this and react to it.  There will always be the question of who/what/where is the best.  I'm pretty sure those questions will never be answered to the satisfaction of all.

YakAngler.com is not listed as one of the choices.
