Apparently someone thinks they deleted their own account from NWKA before being banned.  I recall banning him.  But whatever, if my recollection of the situation is incorrect, I again apologize.

There was a lot of fun on facebook this morning.  Yeehaw!  From Jason Self's facebook page.

Unfortunately a certain someone has themselves listed as the publisher of the Milk Crate and Kayak Fishing Magazine. He chose to slander me in a public forum, after a truce three years ago, and now I am forced to do everything in my power to bring this waste of time back to him. If he was just talking trash about me, I wouldn't care, but this guy has trashed my girlfriend, my employer, and my reputation. He is vindictive and tries to hurt me, more than just in a public forum. He has jeopardized my livelihood before, and it's not going to continue any more.

For the record.  He was banned from NWKA for being an internet bully. That is true.  That is what I stated.

There was no truce. I'm not even sure what there would be a truce over.  He was banned.  I may disagree with statements he makes/made, but I never called him a name or threatened him to a fight (on the forums or facebook or email or anywhere).  In fact, my last communication to him after he sent the "vinegar and turds" message was the following:

Not sure why you believe that me deleting a post in which members of the forum were called a "dumb ass red neck" is attacking you.  Jason, I have never disagreed with your message of safety.  I have made this statement many times and to many people.  However, I do strongly disagree with your methods of communicating it.  When you think people are disagreeing with you, you resort to name calling and temper tantrums.  Take your own advice, "That is a bad way for people to get the right info".

I have no idea who his girlfriend is or what I did to her.  He seems to think I do.

I have not trashed his employer.  In fact I did let his former employer know that there were reputation issues for their shop in the northwest kayak fishing scene.   You'd think that if statements like the one fungunnin made below were being made about a shop, the shop would want to know.  I tried to help his employer.

I didn't trash his reputation.  I am not responsible for his actions, only my own.

I have no idea how he is getting hurt by me, "more than just in a public forum".  The only statements I've made recently are all here in this thread.

I apologize to you all for airing this dirty laundry here.  But somebody wants to go on a rampage attacking me for making a statement about why he was banned from a forum I run.  And that rampage includes false statements about me.  I received enough questions about what was going on (and support too ... thank you bros) that I felt compelled to post here as an FYI, just to close the loop.  Hopefully this ends soon.
