So thanks for stepping up, Ruben!  And I'll actually get to go since soccer season ends Nov 3 woohoo! Although I'm not sure if this type of format would require more skill or luck to win but I'm down either way.

Ruben, you're allowing line counter, I thought the theme of the tournament is simplicity... old school kayak fishing. Nothin' fancy, just the angler and his/her gear, testing their skills. Just kidding bruddah.

I have lost interest in rock fishing but the format sounds fun. Some of the best anglers I fish with on the central coast use no electronics. I think the locals still have an advantage. To make it truly a level playing field, you should have it at a location nobody fishes regularly. Like Big Sur.  I'll see if I can make it. Can we drop crab pots?

Scott, the Central Coast would be great for a future tourney. And I do plan on doing a couple of these a year, so I'll keep that in mind.

Ugggh, last time someone tried to host an event in Big Sur it turned into 15pgs of bs. And the reason why I'll never try to organize an event again. With the exception of PIF of course.
