  I was doing that in 1974 in SoCal and found it funnier than $hit. But then I was 14 years old, not a grown man. 

That is what is wrong with the world, people quit having fun, and take things too damn serious! I think if we all took some time to play some school house pranks and jokes, that do not result in injury, for the sake of a chuckle, is good clean, American fun! The world would be a lot cooler place if more of us did things like that, especially sharing a memory like this with a young one, and teach them, life just does not have to be all business.

How cool would it be to have Obama's face carved into the Black Hills?

It'd be cooler if you just stuck to kayakfishing, kayaks or just plain fishing.  This wasn't even clever or imaginative.
