Getting excited about this event. Heading over Thursday to get some much needed time on the salt before they tourney. Really looking forward to all the good food as well.

There will be several Thursday arrivals.  Michelle works late that night so I figure to head over about 6pm Thursday with the dream of getting a few hours OTW to fish Friday.  We're busy in the stretch and busting with excitement.

Thanks Joe and everyone coming or not, for all your good wishes.  It's a crazy time and I love doing it.  Lots of new faces signed up this year and more newbies to the sport than I think I've ever seen.  2 or 3 women so far too.

The wind and swell forecast improved today from good to very good and we should see anglers fishing late.  If that's the case, we're ready for a late rush to the scales with extra baskets and helpers.  We also have a photographer at the scale to shoot all the weigh-ins.

1st place goes to the heaviest single (one) fish

2-4th Place - anglers submit 3 (different) fish to the scales to get the total weight of those 3 fish
