Hobie too is preparing to launch something new.  But "A New Way to Fish!" is about all they are saying at this time. I wonder what they have up their sleeves?

my guess is that they're building hoverboats.  we know they're always on the cutting edge.

I am sure it is another inspector gadget invention which will add more weight and mechanical complexity. Hobie needs to focus more on reliability and less on functionality starting with rudder and click and go cams. The AI is still my big game boat of choice but most of the time I roll with 1 AMA no sail. Less things to break or get in the way. Less weight and less rigging time too.

Hobie seats suck but so do all factory seats. I have used the same STS pro for the last 5 years on all of my kayaks including the AI. The one thing you can do to really make kayak fishing more enjoyable is to get a good seat. Less than the cost of a Revo toro. Just saying.
