Much love, thoughts and prayer to you and your family Joel. You sold me my P15, and I still have it. You are a true inspiration to everybody you came in contact with. God bless you on this journey.

Joel
You have a big heart. Thanks for all you taught me when I first started kayak fishing! It was just a little while ago that you were at the Quarry Lakes HOW event, doing what you could to help the Vets and make this world a better place. That's exactly what you've done. Mission Accomplished !!!!!!!!

Joel was one of the first person to reply to my first post.  I miss reading your post and insight these past couple of years so reading this news about you breaks my heart. Your gift of gab will be missed my friend.

First thing Joel did when I first met him was to offer me the use of a kayak...caught me completely by surprise!!

Joel, you have been genuinely more of a brother to me than my real brothers. Word!

You have touched so many hearts bro including mine and the Jedmo Nation. You've put such smile on their faces that every years Albion they all look forward to seeing you. It is really hard to say anything at the moment because of what you are going through. Take care brother Joel and we will continue to pray for you and your family.

Much love,
Jed and family

Like many before have said, Mooch IS someone I always look forward to seeing at the events.  I'll never forget the smile my son had when he bounded up to me and was talking excitedly about trying paddle boarding at BSSII.  After talking with him and my wife, I pieced together that Joel had heard my son talking about wanting to try it and immediately offered up his board for a test paddle.

You have a way of putting people at ease, and I look forward to meeting you again no matter where that may be friend.  This journey we all go through can be long and hard, but it is the moments where we connect with others that put it all in perspective.  You have touched many, and many are wishing you the best.

Joel,

You left an immediate impression on Linda and I when we first met a few years ago, and the one thing in common with my most memorable NCKA moments is you. I still laugh when I think about your balut challenge to Linda and the ensuing hilarity.  You have and will continue to be a force for good in our lives.

Can't tell you how many great times I have had with brother Mooch, but they are many in number.  My son Chris (Jelly) adores him.  I can't imagine a tougher decision for a man to make, but there is no one In my world better equipped to make it.  Hang in there Moochie.
