Just pm'd codzilla about a potential rideshare for the event. Don't make me have to show y'all how to catch 5 magnum crappie!

And don't forget your bows if you hunt! There ARE pigs around Black Butte and they are stickable! There has been more than a handful taken by boat there. I saw quite a bit of sign there during pheasant season. But there is always plenty of sign there!

I will be taking registrations at the lake on the day of the event or before, I will also have a bunch of blank forms and waivers for people to use

Carpool anyone? I plan to go up Sat morning Early... I80 to I5...  Would go Fri night if joining Others... plan to return on sat eavening after event...

Likewise, I'll be making a day run out of it and leaving from Redding early Saturday if anyone wants a ride.

I am in will be sending in paper work tonight.  Ben, GrimKeeper and I will be going down Friday,  so you can have a base camp with us.

10-4....slim chance I may be able to run down after getting the monkeys to bed Friday night, we'll see.  Sure sounds better than leaving the house at 3:30am!

I just talk to the guy at Sportsman's  Market & gas, he will have minnows  if you  want them.

Back roads, Follow me if you dare Cuts 65-70 miles off the trip and bypasses Marysville, the town of 1000 traffic lights and 300 police cruzers! light brigade/barricade (Hate that town!!!!)

I'll be there Friday late afternoon til Saturday.  Just need a place to park my car and put up my tent.

The cutover from HWY 20 to Hwy 70 bypassing Marysville is called Woodruff Lane.  And yes beware of Marysville PD, especially the first light when you come into town once you cross the bridge.  It has a Red Light camera.
