Good point Rob. I saw in the latest 2013 regs they've opened up that lake to spearfishing.

Never fished that lake but, I'll be there.

Pike minnow!!! What about Walleye!!!!! (yes they are listed as a fish-able species in the lake!!!!!!)

You looked at that fishing notes site. They list walleye on all pages, but it shows no tips or reports for them. Are there walleye in Caples too? Also lists LMB,SMB, Spots, Crappie in Caples too. Not too reliable.

That Fishing Notes Site is B.S. I get duped into clicking on it now and then.

And don't forget your bows if you hunt! There ARE pigs around Black Butte and they are stickable! There has been more than a handful taken by boat there. I saw quite a bit of sign there during pheasant season. But there is always plenty of sign there!
