Look at the dozens of teams for the NE, SE, & SCen regions. But for all of Norcal, Oregon, & WA there is only six & even one of those might be cancelled cause there's only one guy on it currently. Teams from the new Australia & Caribbean regions this year should keep things interesting though. Oh & what's up with the two AnglingWes teams? So much for NCKA pride......

I'm down to join someone's team, but I do almost no freshwater fishing.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Wait! There was never an issue with last years teams.  As I recall the Patrick hand his own team which was not NCKA and no one had a  issue with that.  I'd asked at the beginning to see if someone one wanted to join this year but got no respose.  Only response from NCKA members were formed by AnglingWes team members.  Just like Pat I'd joined a central team of players this year.  There is nothing wrong with an extra NCKA team.  Just not many intrested...I guess.

Cmon Adam you're the real deal. No one's 'letting me down'. I just wondered why those other regions have so many teams.

Yester, I just don't understand the 2 Anglingwes teams. Why 2?

We named them AnglingWes because we all fish together regularly and also belong to his forum.

Most are NCKA members. Not all.

Are we limited to one by ncka?

I started a team last year hoping to get my close friends to join...the guys I fish with every wknd. Because it w/b fun to compete against each other. But they were super lame ahulls haha, so it was just me & Dan. I didn't mean to intentionally avoid or exclude anybody, but I apologize if it came across that way.
I'm not doing it again this year. I kinda lost interest last yr. Plus I didn't really catch quantity--or take actual pictures of fish I released. Then after they instituted a "no dead fish" policy, I lost track and stopped posting fish altogether.
But it's a cool idea and it m/b really fun. Plus it's free! So if you're on the fence, I say go for it. What's the worst that could happen--get embarrassed by Salty's prolific stats?  :smt008

Why would you guys care if I put a team together??? No NCKA pride???

Sorry, I didn't know there were rules against me having friends beyond the NCKA realm.  I'll make sure I get the blessings of NCKA before entering teams in a national contest with NO AFFILIATION to this organization.

Oh well I guess.  I still welcome all NCKA members to affiliate with my little personal blog and forum, and as an an employee of The Fish Sniffer, I will continue to promote this (NCKA) group.

Just to be totally transparent here too, I feel I should disclose that I spent $26 at Fisherman's Warehouse in Sac this morning in tackle that I plan to use to get my first KW points.

Wes, you could have simply explained that the AnglinWes Teams represent the AnglingWes Kayakfishing forum. Last time I looked it was a blog only. So now I understand both of your teams have pride in the AnglingWes forum. No need for tears to fall.
