I'll get there at gates opening, Mel, what time is that and how much is a fishing permit?    I suggest getting there early too as traffic in the east bay, is ugg...  That's going to be especially tough coming down west bound 80  if I were you...  maybe look into 680 to 580 and take mission blvd down to Decoto rd... I'll talk to ya...  I have not been down these roads in a while, but I know if you come down 80 WB,  you could be in nasty traffic form Cordilia,  and then again all along 80 from Hercules to Emerville and then God knows what from oakland to Fremont....  just a heads up and anyone who knows south east bay traffic on a Friday morning post up...

Rob and few others will be coming down from the foothills,  hate to see ya guys stuck in traffic....

I expect the VA around 9 or 10

and again, if your yak does not pass,  let it go,  no worries, we'll get by....

  No launch or entry fees,  just say your with HOW and have the flyer (Black and white is fine) for your car or see me for one when you get there. Probably be ok without one anyway, but could not hurt.

we need hooks,  what is the  best size?

chartreuse power bait and probable worms...  I can go out and buy whatever we are low on, but lets post up what we have...

if you go out and buy a ton of stuff,  save the recite with just HOW supplies and I will reimburse you...


I have not see the poles since the Lodi event and expect we will need to do some quick rigging of those upon arrival...

Talked to my neighbor who limited out yesterday, he said shinny lures(kastmaster. Lil Cleo) and chartreuse and white power bait on long leaders was the ticket.

vets arrive around 9 or 9:930

need someone to take check in...  vets should have all paper worked sign prior to arrival...

everyone, including myself, needs to sign a waiver, this can also be done prior to arrival ( see attached )

and media waiver...  if your suddenly camera shy...    let us know and we will give you a wrist band for not having your picture taken..

and VERY IMPORTANT...  if you see a vet with a wrist band,  please do not take their picture,  unless they ask...

need someone to cook up burgers and dogs,

I have some coffee creamer stuff from Kelsey. It's powdered so it should be good. Ill check on it

The VA states they should be there around 9am,  some vets are driving themselves ...

  They say 45 have signed up,  20 to 30% no show rate day of event...

  we should have enough rods, but would be good if we had a few more hiding rods in our cars if we run a little short

Could we have everyone post up on what they are bringing terminal tackle wise...
