"Fresh Meat" Anyone have a opossum recipe?

Cabeza, I have a live one if u want it. (I knocked it out with a head shot with my air soft gun as it was trying to get into our doggie door) No one has claimed it yet despite my efforts of finding it's rightful owner

Being from Missouri, I grew up eating some weird stuff, but we only knew one old lady who ever claimed to eat opossum, and once she didn't have to she never did again.  Said they were greasy, stringy and plain rotten.  Not to mention the scent glands, fleas and ticks...No bueno for sure.  I've chased a few down and caught them by hand for fun, but wouldn't eat em unless I was actually starving, they reek like roadkill when still alive!

Glad this was fun tho 

As far as squirrel, now that's some tasty rodent!

Fresh Meat!   

Every night there's a damn animal parade in my backyard. First the raccoons, then the possums, then the skunks. There was 6 skunks in my backyard at one time a few nights ago!!! I shoot em w/the pellet gun but that ain't working. I'm gonna have to start trapping them or call animal control or something.

skunks are bad this year.  They ate all the grapes off my vines already.  The deer ate all the leaves. 

found a headless crow on our front steps last nite - I suspect an owl got it.
F'n crows have been bombing our cars bad lately.
