I'm in for a group hug    Where have you been Mooch?

Have had about three different occasions to spend time chatting and working with Mooch at various Kayaking events, and was struck by how immediately likable and good-hearted he is. Count me in on that group hug thing.

I met Joel at the 2011 AOTY ceromony in HMB; he was one of the first members to befriend me when I was new. We (my wife and I) actually spent time after the ceromony was over and talked until mostly everyone had left.

Since then, Eileen and I made it a point to stay close friends with Joel and help him when we could; even if helping meant just being a ear to listen. Even after, Joel decided to take some time off from the website, we made a strong effort to let him know that we are still here for him.

If you miss him, reach out and let him know; make a call, send an email or even send a card (stamps pay for my next kayak  )... be a part of his life, just as much as he is a part of yours...

I can honestly say I don't miss him, because we never let him out of my life.....

Miss you Mooch, feel better brother

By the way, when I go to the beach at the SC yacht harbor and see the sexy girls playing beach volleyball, I think of your passion for the SPORT
