My ideas for a fall series of Sacramento Area tournaments

Just throwing this out there right now, and there is lot of room for changes. I will be starting the permitting with Reclamation for Folsom and DFG this week if there is interest.

For the FreshKATS 2012 Series:

October 7, Folsom Fling: Beals Point from 8am until 3pm for trout and bass.

November 4, Fall Guys Trout: Located at Lake Amador and fishing for biggest mutant trout

December 9, P.O.S. Stripers: Port of Sacramento Striper fishing

I'd have to say Jim that is a stellar idea. Especially with all of the new Sacto members. We have quite a bit of new anglers out here to our group and would enjoy seeing it grow and grow out here.

That's sounds like a lot of fun. The sturgeon sounds a little exciting from a yak. I would definitely be interested in doing this.

I also want to do a port event, Just not sure how to fit it into the NCKA schedule since Sept 22 and 29 as well as Oct 13 and 21 are already full...

Jim Jim Jim ... the port is all about the late fall/ winter time. Last week in November to the end of the year= limits of stripers.

i have never been to shag slough, but it sounds like a great place to have a beer!

Well,  I'll have to make it happen then .  How about:
