This WSB craze is driving me crazy... I would love to meet with some fellas in SC if anyone is going out fishing... I live in the bay area but will be willing to drive, I just dont want to be out there for my first time SOLO... Also for anyone that is willing to hook up with a "newbie" please advise me on what type of tackle i should be bringing ie. bait, lures etc. so i can shop friday...

thanks and hope to finally meet some of you.

Read the article written by Great Bass 2 on NCKa home page. It will teach you alot about WSB.   You will need fresh whole squid.

On Saturday there will be so many boats and yaks on the water the landlord won't know what to do.  :smt005 Its a morning bottom bite so have at least 2 on the bottom.

for parking/launch take a look at the hookup from Tuesday 8/21 posted by drvoolittle, those guys went over the launch situation pretty well.  I dont know the parking rules in SC on weekends though - but Cap's parking on weekends sucks.

Thanks for the tip on where to launch. A friend of mine, not on this board, and I are planning to give it a shot at the WSB on this Saturday as well. It'll be my first time Kayak fishing in that area.
